Antonia's only other sibling by her father's marriage to Marguerite was James of Baux, the last titular Latin Emperor of Constantinople. Her paternal grandparents were Bertrand III of Baux, Count of Andria and Marguerite d'Aulnay. Her maternal grandparents were Philip I of Taranto and Catherine II of Valois, Princess of Achaea.On 26 November 1373, Antonia married Frederick III the Simple. The bride was approximately seventeen years old and the groom thirty-one. He had a daughter from a previous marriage but no male heirs. This marriage sealed the peace between Naples and Sicily, agreed the prior. Antonia died childless after only two years of marriage. Frederick never remarried and died in 1377. He was succeeded by his only daughter Maria of Sicily.".
