The execution of tasks and functions of BSN in the National Standards for Measurement Unit conducted by the National Standards Committee for Units of Measure (KSNSU) . KSNSU has the task to give consideration and advice to BSN on national standards for units of measure. In accordance with the primary objective of standardization is to protect producers, consumers, workers and the public from the aspect of security, safety, health and environment conservation, setting national standardization is done in order to establish a national system that is able to encourage and improve, ensure the quality of goods and / or services as well as to facilitate national product acceptance in the global market transactions.
