The Examiner launched Welcome Home - a real estate guide - in 2007 and redesigned the newspaper that year.The paper was formerly owned by Stauffer Communications, which was acquired by Morris Communications in 1994. Morris sold the paper, along with thirteen others, to GateHouse Media in 2007.Audrey Stubbart, an American centenarian, worked for The Examiner until the age of 105, becoming the oldest verified full-time employee ever in the United States.".
