He was also Australian (3) and British (2) Champion, was 1993 Australian Athlete of the Year and is in the Athletics Hall of Fame for the State of South Australia.Arkell is a high technology executive for early stage and middle market software and IT companies. In 1998 he co-founded Versifi Technologies in Newport Beach, California. Versifi created the first 100% java web content management platform and went on to sell to Reef Technologies, SA in Belgium in 2000. Arkell then became a principal with Gramercy Venture Advisors, a boutique, software-focused investment banking firm in San Francisco, with a focus on venture capital and mergers and acquisitions. Arkell is now CEO of Predixion Software, Inc.".
