Another passenger, film actor Elmer Booth, was killed instantly in the crash. Siegmann had four broken ribs, a deeply lacerated thigh, and internal injuries.In 1927, Siegmann married Maud Darby. About a year later, in 1928, after a long illness, he died of pernicious anemia.".
