It is supervised by the Saudi Ministry of Education. It has a generally high quality of teaching, and can be especially noted for its strength in the field of foreign languages. It is for this reason, along with the school's good reputation, that many parents choose to send their children to study at Najd. The school prepares its students to pass several international foreign language exams as the TOEFL, SAT and DELF. An overwhelming number of Najd School graduates excel in higher education because of their proficiency in foreign languages.Notable former students include HRH Prince Mansoor bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri, the President of Africa Khaleel Ghalayini and his Deputy President Kinan Hassounah. In addition, the school organizes many extra-curricular activities such as the annual Kashafa (Scouts) camp and a variety of school plays. For a number of years it has also been known to send a number of its students on an educational trip to Lebanon, The United Kingdom, in addition of course to the local ones like Khobar and Jeddah.".
