Before people reached jeep services for travel but now other transportation including buses are available.People are politically aware but different political parties work together. People live in religious harmony.That stationery business is run by Kottarathil Stores and Kottarathil Agencies .The grocery shops are Parinthirikkal Stores and parinthirickal stores are the total distributors of hill products of melechinnare and, Nariyambara Shop and janatha stores . Kattyamal Textiles provide cloth items and Mohanan shop provides tailoring. Dhanya hotel provides tea,cheru kadikal and lunches".
