Kurian Kunnu hill is the highest among the four hills, rising 2,500 feet (760 m) above sea level. The Kottamala Hill has a height of 2,300 feet (700 m) above sea level. Kottamala Hill provide the effect of a big fort, which is famous for its stretch of 2.5 km. View from the top of Kottamala provide a visibility of around 80 km, up to Cochin Beach. The Arabian Sea, located 80 km away from the base of the hill, can be viewed from the hilltop. Kodikuthi Hill got the name during the British Rule, by a British surveyor, who did the survey of this area. The remains of the survey still exists at the top of this hill.Kuninji is also known to many as a shooting location. Recently a famous Malayalam movie named Elsamma Enna Aankutty, had its shoot over here, which was directed by a famous Malayalam director Lal Jose..".
