For his work in television and movies, Ortiz de Pinedo's handprints have been imbedded onto the Paseo de las Luminarias.Jorge Ortiz de Pinedo is especially popular in the United States and Latin America for his portrayal of "Doctor Cándido Pérez", "Hasta que la muerte los separe", "Dos mujeres en mi casa", "Cero en conducta" and "La Escuelita VIP".
