Pakula, Philippe de Broca, Jean Delannoy, and John Landis, among other.His first short film, Voyage dans le passé received the prestigious Vatican award and allowed him to fulfill his dream of a becoming a feature film director.His first feature film, Ali, Rabiaa and the others, was removed from cinemas a few days after its release. He won several international awards.His second feature film, The Satanic Angels, despite a hectic production (filming permit were refused at the last moment despite promises), was finally released in cinemas and became the first at the box office in Morocco, ahead of films like Harry Potter. He received the award for best music in the National Festival of Tangier, the Jury Prize at the International Film Festival Avanca Portugal, and two Special Mentions at the Festival of Goa.His most recent films are The Return of the Son in 2011, and La Isla de Perijil which will hit screens in 2016.".
