The State Capital Printing Company was awarded all the Territorial printing and soon became the territory's largest job printing, book binding, and school supply business.The first edition of the paper, printed in Kansas, contained the proclamation by President William Henry Harrison that opened the Oklahoma Territory to settlement.".
