Approximately 2,600 hourly and 300 salaried employees currently work at the plant. The hourly-rated workers are represented by their union, Unifor Local 222. Current products include the Chevrolet Impala and Impala Limited, Buick Regal, Cadillac XTS, and Chevrolet Equinox. The Buick Regal, Cadillac XTS, and new Impala are assembled on the flexible line. The consolidated line, which produces the previous generation Chevrolet Impala (now Impala Limited) and Equinox, is scheduled to close in 2016.".
