In 2009, his first year at Austin Peay, he was 3-3 with a 7.33 ERA in 14 games (10 starts). After being redshirted in 2010 due to a torn labrum, he was 4-6 with a 3.50 ERA in 19 games (four starts) during his final year of college.The Giants drafted him in the 27th round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft. With the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes in 2011, Snodgrass was 4-1 with a 3.59 ERA in 19 games (4 starts). He was 10-8 with a 4.62 ERA in 27 games (26 starts) for the San Jose Giants in 2012, earning a spot on the California League Mid-Season All-Star team. In 2013, he was 12-4 with a 3.70 ERA in 25 starts for the Richmond Flying Squirrels. On April 5 of that year, he pitched the first part of a 7-inning no-hitter against the New Britain Rock Cats, with Daryl Maday pitching the 7th inning. Snodgrass allowed only a walk to Evan Bigley, but was otherwise perfect. It was the first no-hitter in Flying Squirrels history. He was an Eastern League Mid- and Post-Season All-Star that year. He tied Logan Verrett and Matt Packer for the league lead in wins that year. Back with Richmond in 2014, he was 11-6 with a 3.56 ERA in 24 games (22 starts) for the club, again earning Mid-Season All-Star honors. He started 2015 with the team as well.".
