Then from 1943 to 1945, Corbett served in the United States Navy during World War II. He then practiced law and was the Racine City Attorney. From 1961 to 1980, Corbett served as Wisconsin Circuit Court judge for Racine County, Wisconsin. Corbett died at the Veteran's Home in King, Wisconsin.".
