It also has many high quality restaurants as well as several magnificent bays. Yalıkavak is surrounded by hills offering tourists views of the town and nearby Aegean coastline.In 2009 Yalikavak hosted the Palmalife RS:X Youth World Championships in which 109 competitors took part.The port Palmarina Bodrum (formerly Port Bodrum Marina) is also in Yalikavak with 620 berths for yachts up to 100m which also has a 2,500 seat Amphitheatre. It was bought in 2011 for 42 million dollars with plans to increase capacity to 800.".
