- Q16999732 abstract "Movie Magazine is a now defunct Saturday afternoon showbiz-oriented talk show produced by LOCA-LOBO Productions (a collaboration of Lourdes "Inday Badiday" Carvajal and husband Gene "Bo" Palomo) and aired over GMA Network. It was originally hosted by Cristy Fermin, Lulubelle Lam and Nap Gutierrez with Mario Hernando as the show's resident film reviewer. They hosted the show from 1987-1988 until Lam left in 1989 and the tandem of Fermin and Gutierrez plus Hernando continued the show. In 1992, Fermin started hosting "Showbiz Lingo" on ABS-CBN with Butch Francisco but continued to host "Movie Magazine" since the show was not directly in competition with each other. Nap Gutierrez left in 1993 and was replaced by Jun Nardo. Cristy Fermin then left "Movie Magazine" before 1994 ended after ABS-CBN decided to sign her as an exclusive talent. Eugene Asis and Dolly Anne Carvajal came on board to replace her and formed a quartet with remaining hosts Nardo and Hernando until the show went off the air middle of 1995 and was replaced with "Channel S" which was solely produced by Inday Badiday's LOCA Productions after a falling out with her partner, Gene Palomo, who headed LOBO Productions and Aries Vision (which produced ABC-5's successful midday primetime talk show "Isang Tanong Isang Sagot").".
