- Q16998058 abstract "K56HW was a low-power television station licensed to Rochester, Minnesota. It was most recently a repeater that broadcast programming from the Trinity Broadcasting Network, via satellite. The station broadcast in analog on UHF channel 56. From 1988 to 2002, the station was known as "K60DS" and was broadcast on channel 60.On March 30, 2006, the station applied for a construction permit to begin converting operations to digital television, with plans to broadcast at 15 kW on Channel 39.TBN took K56HW silent March 26, 2010, due to declining support, which has been attributed to the digital transition. K56HW came back online on April 26, 2010.On April 13, 2012, TBN sold 36 of its translators, including K56HW, to Regal Media, a broadcasting group headed by George Cooney, the CEO of the EUE/Screen Gems studios. However, the station never returned to air; on February 19, 2013, the FCC cancelled the license for K56HW after being off the air for over the year and not having moved to a station within the channel 2 to 51 core.".
