He also joined Gustav Brom’s orchestra and the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra. From 1968 to 1970 Dašek was a member of the house band at the Blue Note club in Berlin and played with Lou Bennett’s trio. During this period he accompanied Benny Bailey, Carmell Jones, Tony Scott, Leo Wright, and many others. With Jiří Stivín he worked in the duo Systém Tandem (1971–1975, re-formed 1985), which performed successfully at European festivals.
