- Woburn_Challenge abstract "The Woburn Challenge is a programming competition organized by high-school students of Woburn Collegiate Institute, in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. The contest is similar in structure to the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest. In the past years, the contest has consisted of three divisions:Suicidal DivisionSenior DivisionIntermediate DivisionEach division features 5 or 6 problems, solved by teams of 3 students in 3 hours. The level of difficulty rises from the Intermediate Division through to the Suicidal Division.Past problems and solutions have been made available online by members of Woburn's Programming Enrichment Group (PEG).The Woburn Challenge was discontinued for several years, before being restarted in October of 2015, with only 2 divisions: the Senior Division and the Junior Division. A new website was specifically created for the contest. Prizes are given out to the top scoring participants (top 3 in Junior division, top 5 in Senior division), with a prize pool of over $500 in each round. For the first round in October 2015, there were 178 registered competitors from over 29 schools.".
