From 1954 to 1959 he attended the school of Bruno Saetti at the Fine Art Academy in Venice, where he received his degree before travelling to Paris on the way to attend the lessons of Italian Art school, specializing in mosaic and drawing techniques.He was included among the second-generation Spatialists soon, supported by Lucio Fontana, who firsthand often followed municipal, trivenete and national Casellati exposures, gaining personally some of his works.On the occasion of the 4th Biennale dell'incisione Italiana (1960) promoted by the Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa, appeared out of competition with a work which was defined by Nonveiller gestural paintings with figurative near certain informal existential Valence Lombardy, in the act of putting an emphasis on works that distinguished themselves from usual tradition.Being a great lover of antiquity, he developed a passion for collecting, becoming known as a prestigious antiquary and art collector during numerous shows.Retiring from the stage, Casellati gradually ceased to exhibit the results of his studies despite the disappointment of collectors and critics, seeking a new opening.In November 2012 he agreed to bring his work to the light again, thanks to the personal care of Karine Trotel (Venice), giving back to the public the opportunity to appreciate its quality and value.Several Casellati works are now in many collections in Venice, Udine, Padua, Milan, Turin and Paris.Personal exhibitions: 1957 – Galleria Santo Stefano-Venezia; 1959 – Galleria del Girasole – Udine; 1961 Galleria d’Arte «Il Traghetto» - Venezia; 1961 – Galleria Montenapoleone 6 A – Milano.They wrote about his works, among the others: Gastone Breddo, Rinaldo Burattin, Domenico Caldoresi, Arturo Manzano, Berto Morucchio, A.
