Richard Nixon and the American Space Program (Palgrave Macmillan, 2015). From September 2008-August 2009, he held the Charles A. Lindbergh Chair in Aerospace History at the Smithsonian Institution's National Air and Space Museum. In 2003, he served as a member of the Columbia Accident Investigation Board. He is a former member of the NASA Advisory Council and its Exploration Committee.The International Astronautical Federation awarded Logsdon the 2013 Frank J.
