He is also the Chair and Founder of the OECD Emerging Markets Network (EmNet), a platform of 50 leading multinationals from OECD and emerging countries (Brazil, India, Russia, China, South Africa) that he created while at the OECD and a member of the Advisory Council of Aspen Institute France.He started his career in academia as a tenured Research Rellow at Sciences Po Paris and Associate Professor at SAIS Johns Hopkins University.
