- Foolabai abstract "Foolabai (1664–1682) was a saintly Jat woman popularly known as Bhakt Shiromani Foolabai. She was born in 1664 AD in the family of Jat chieftain of Manju gotra in the village Manjhwas situated at a distance of 20 km from Nagaur in Nagaur district. She took living samādhi in Manjhwas in 1682 AD.Foolabai was a brave and strong woman devoted to God. She was very popular in her devotion of God in the period of Badsah Aurangzeb's rule at Delhi. When Aurangzeb sent Rathore Raja Jaswant Singh to attack Kabul, a group of saints had come to the village Manjuwas. They had discussions on spiritual subjects with Foolabai and they were so much impressed by the splendid devotion of her that they became her followers. The influence of Foolabai was so much on their hearts that they praised about her to Jaswant Singh Rathore while Jaswant Singh was in Kabul and visited those saints. The saints in Kabul asked Jaswant Singh if he had come from the land of Foolabai. Jaswant Singh decided to see Foolabai and went to her village to see her. She was popular in folk songs in Marwar region.".
