The mission of Rachel's Well is to empower and connect a community to advance the health and well-being of women and girls with Primary ovarian insufficiency (POI). POI is a rare disease affecting about 1 in 10,000 girls and young women by the age of 20. Christine was diagnosed with POI in early 2000 while participating in a protocol at the National Institutes of Health.
