WUMR is a non-commercial/educational station, and cannot air commercials, but as with public radio stations, WUMR can sell sponsorships known as underwriting. The range of WUMR is a 90 mile radius of Memphis, TN and the station can also be heard online through its Internet stream at wumr.memphis.edu.
