Contributors included the architect Arthur Ashpitel (1807–69), Disraeli's private secretary Montagu Corry, Laurence Oliphant, and Henry Drummond Wolff. They also included Mortimer Collins, Lord Houghton, Ralph Bernal Osborne, George Otto Trevelyan, and Thomas Gibson Bowles.".
