The organisation became involved with several sports over the course of its history, notably athletics, softball and boxing, but as of 2013 focuses on football. The football branch, established in 1929 as the club Moera Stop Out, changed its name to Stop Out in 1932. The club won the Chatham Cup in 1956, and was runner-up in the National League in 1977. In 1983 and 1984 Stop Out won the Central League title.The club was also involved with cricket,as Moera Stop out thenTrafalgar Stop out then Eastern Districts,Rugby Union as Moera stop out who then changed codes to become a member of the fledgling Wellington Rugby League as Randwick.
