Kunz, who successfully contested the election.He was an unsuccessful candidate for election in 1932 to the Seventy-third Congress.He engaged in the coal and oil business in Chicago until May 1933.He served as member of the Illinois House of Representatives from 1933-1973.He served as assistant director of finance of the State of Illinois 1941-1943.He served as vice president of a glass company in Chicago, Illinois, 1948.He was a resident of Chicago, Illinois, until his death there on September 29, 1973.He was interred in Mount Carmel Cemetery.".
