The Kinloch Club golf course was designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened in March 2007.Kinloch has early childhood education through the Lakeland Mobile Kindergarten service and bus access to Marotiri Primary School. Kinloch also hosts a French community, epitomised by the "Crouton" cafe. The Kinloch Volunteer Fire Brigade also services the area and is an auxiliary brigade meaning it's run by Taupo's brigade.".
