When the sale is completed, the classical music format heard weekdays on KBIA was moved to KMUC 90.5, while KBIA transitioned into a news/talk/information station similar to sister stations KCUR Kansas City and KWMU St. Louis. KBIA also operates repeaters KKTR 89.7 in Kirksville, and KAUD 90.5 in Mexico, Missouri.".
