He became interested in comics at a very young age of two. Later, it just became a passion. He also works in 3D animation, but is more interested in creating graphic novels and comics. Gaman's artistic style is influenced by Indian iconography, combining the traditional illustration techniques of watercolour, pen and ink with modern digital techniques.His debut art show was in September at The United Art Fair 2012. An exhibition on Freedom to March with Ojas Gallery 2013, New Delhi, where he interpreted Mahatma Gandhi, Dandi march, in his unique graphic novel format and in Punebiennale 2015 with 'Swachh Bharath' in his own unique graphic narrative manner.Gaman Palem lives and works in Chennai. His works have been published in major graphic magazines, journals and he has exhibited widely in India.".
