Yob has also served as a Director of the Michigan Department of Transportation, Vice Chairman of the Mackinac Island State Park Commission, and Director of the Federal Home Loan Bank Board. In early 2005 he was elected RNC Vice Chairman for the Midwest region.On September 12, 2007, Yob announced that he would not seek re-election to the Republican National Committee. He and his wife, Jackalyn, have six children and twelve grandchildren.".
