It was operated in an orbit with a perigee of 278 kilometres (173 mi), an apogee of 518 kilometres (322 mi), 48.4 degrees of inclination, and an orbital period of 92.5 minutes, until decaying from orbit and reentering the atmosphere on 2 November 1968.".
