O'mara continued to work for three years as an assistant coach for the University of Arkansas Track and Cross Country teams when the program won their first NCAA Triple Crown. He is the former CEO of AWCC, a subsidiary of Atlantic Tele-Network which was acquired by AT&T in 2013.".
