The Earl of Suffolk is lord of the manor.The Church of England parish church is dedicated to the Holy Cross and has a bell-tower. Its parish registers survive back to 1699.Manor Farmhouse and associated buildings are Grade II* listed.Cloatley Manor Farm Meadows, a biological Site of Special Scientific Interest, is within the parish.".
