- Q2586665 abstract "Template:Infobox single"Neverending Love", written by Per Gessle, was the first release by the Swedish pop duo Roxette, and was later included on their debut album Pearls of Passion. Originally the single was only meant to be released outside Sweden but EMI eventually changed their minds and released it in Sweden too. It peaked at #3 on the singles chart in Sweden. The song was originally called "Svarta glas" and had been written for another Swedish artist, Pernilla Wahlgren. She turned it down and gave it to her brother, Niclas Wahlgren, who decided to record it. The release of this version was cancelled, however, at the request of Roxette's record company EMI, because Gessle had recorded an English version of the song together with fellow Roxette member Marie Fredriksson. The song's new title was "Neverending Love".There are two music videos for "Neverending Love". The first video was shot in Luxembourg in 1986 and features a red-haired Marie Fredriksson. The second video was directed by Rikard Petrelius and was shot in Sweden one year later.".
