The Snearly Ranch Boys and its revolving roster of band members influenced the careers of other musicians and groups, including Elvis Presley, Stax Records, Hi Records, the Bill Black Combo, and the music that would become known as "The Memphis Sound". The band was part of the evolution of music that resulted in the new musical styles of rockabilly and rock 'n roll.".
