Charlotte-based TMS Development is renovating the spinning and weaving buildings into 289 apartments as the first phase of the Drayton Mills Lofts project. Montgomery Development is handling a second phase of redevelopment of the warehouses and company store into commercial space that will include restaurants, retail and offices. A public, paved multi-use trail connecting the mill to nearby Mary Black Hospital has also been constructed. The entire project is scheduled to be completed in 2016.".
