After the breakup of Rubyhorse, William built a studio which he named Milk Row Cemetery and began writing music for a solo project, along with contributing music to several indie films including On Broadway and a soon-to-be released Second World War documentary. He also writes music for the Frontline current affairs show. As a producer, he has worked with artists including Mick Flannery and Jeremy Lyons.Why Can't Man Be More Like Animals takes its name from a Pink Panther episode entitled Sink Pink.".
