At that time he created a statue, ‘’Morning Mission’’ that was cast in bronze and now resides at the Tulsa Municipal Airport."In 1964 he received the American Numismatic Society’s J. Sanford Saltus award, a silver medal designed by his father, who was himself a recipient of the award in 1920."Weinman was one of 250 sculptors who exhibited in the 3rd Sculpture International held at the Philadelphia Museum of Art in the summer of 1949.".
