After the dissolution of Red Ink, The SoundEx (as they were now known) signed with the independent label 'DR2 Records', and their second album, Palomino, was released on 13 October 2008.The SoundEx broke up in 2008. Lead singer Glen Roughead went on to work as a NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) coach, based in Newcastle upon Tyne. He continued to perform, both as a solo musician (under the name, 'Ruffhead Acoustic'), and as a Swing and Big band singer, under the title, 'Glen Roughead - The New Face of Swing'.".
