Based in the English Midlands, she performs with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, His Majestys Sagbutts and Cornetts, the Gabrieli Consort and Players and the Amsterdam-based Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century.Following studies of the trombone at the Royal College of Music, Addison joined the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra where she remained for four and a half years. She left to direct much of her effort into research on the music and instruments of the fourteenth to the eighteenth centuries.
