- Sung_Jae-gi abstract "Sung Jae-gi (Hangul: 성재기; hanja: 成在基 [sʰəːŋ dʑɛgi]; September 11, 1967 – July 26, 2013) was a South Korean men's rights activist and anti-feminist. He was the founder and first header of Man of Korea, a men's rights group advocating the abolition of the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, whose Korean name (여성부; 女性部) literally translates as \"Ministry of Women\", and compensation demand of the South Korean military time's all sorts of limit. He also argued for anti-feminism, free love, sexual liberation and male liberation. In the 2000s and 2010s, Sung led the South Korean anti-feminist movement, in opposition to the movement for female-preferential policies of South Korea. In his early adulthood he was a businessman. In October 1999 he participated in the movement against abolition of preferential treatment to discharged soldiers in South Korea. He also opposed the abolition of the Hoju system. He later participated in male human rights activities. In 2006 he founded the Association of Anti-feminism and Male Liberation, and in 2007 he founded the Association for the Abolition of the Ministry of Women. In 2008 he founded Man of Korea, serving as its first chairman from 2008 until his death in 2013. His business activities included a night club and Thomas Mcfly Consulting & Headhunting Company.Beginning in 1999 and continuing until his death, he argued for the restoration of the Korean Army bonus points system. In the 2010s he was also an activist for the abolition of women-only facilities.(여성 전용 시설). After 2011, he offered assistance and counseling to battered husbands and house husbands, teenage runaways, male and child victims of violent crimes. He also opened a shelter for homeless persons, male victims of violent crime, teenage runaways, gay and transgender persons. From 1999 to 2013 he was part of the gender liberation movement and liberalism movement. He was also part of the movement to abolish the Ministry of Women and the women's special benefits policy.Near the end of his life, Sung was heavily in debt, up to $200 million by some accounts. On July 25, 2013 Sung announced on the Man of Korea website his intention to commit suicide. The next day, Sung jumped off the Mapo Bridge in Seoul and died. He jumped from the bridge in what was thought to be a publicity stunt to benefit his group, Men's Alliance. Sung's body was found four days later. He wrote under the pen names Blue Wolf (Korean: 푸른늑대), Tongbalbass (Korean: 똥발바쓰) and Tongbal(Korean: 똥발); his nicknames were Shimheon (심헌 審軒) and Shimheon(심헌 心軒). His family clan is Changnyeong Sung clan (창녕성씨 昌寧成氏).".
