His wife, Mae Berkowitz (Yatrofsky) Yates, survives him and lives in Boca Raton, FL. Samuel is also survived by two daughters, one son and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is buried in Beth Israel Jewish Cemetery in Woodbridge, NJ.".
