- Ramrai abstract "Ramrai is a village in the Jind district of the state of Haryana, India. It is located on the Jind-Hansi road, 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) west of Jind. Ramrai or Ramahrada is a traditional south-west Yaksha of the Kurukshetra region. The Jat population of this village are mainly of the Dhull clan (gotra).The village's name derives from \"Ramahrada\" (i.e. \"Parashurama's pool\"). According to myth, in order to appease his ancestors, Parashurama is said to have filled five pools there with the blood of the defeated Haihayas. Bathing in the Ramahrada tirtha and Sanet tirtha is considered very holy.
