Within a year, Marta was named producer of KTLA weekend newscast. During the summer of 1986, Waller began doing occasional stories as an on-air reporter. In September 1987, she was promoted to full-time reporter. She anchored the weekend edition of KTLA \"News at Ten\" from September 1993 until February 1995 with Larry McCormick. In 1995 Waller was named anchor of KTLA's gavel-to-gavel coverage of the O. J. Simpson murder trial. After the trial, Waller resumed her \"News at Ten\" anchor duties until December 2004 when she became medical and special features reporter.Waller has won numerous awards for her reporting and anchoring. She won the Los Angeles Press Club Award, the Edward R. Murrow Award and an Emmy from the Television Academy for anchoring KTLA's coverage of the September 11 terrorist attacks. Marta donated her time as one of the hosts of the Easter Seal Telethon and continues to support that charity.She left KTLA in October, 2008.Marta has three three daughters and two grandsons. Marta is an owner/parter in K.I.S.S. Media, a social media marketing company based in Los Angeles.She now lives in Paris, France where she is a professor of International Marketing, Corporate Strategy and Communications Techniques at Paris West University Nanterre/La Defense.".
