'Lou' Lang (born November 26, 1949) is a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 16th District since 1987.Lang was appointed to the Illinois House in 1987 by the Niles Township Democratic organization to fill the vacancy when Lang mentor Representative Alan Greiman became a judge.In May, 2000 Lang raised money and formed an exploratory committee for a possible bid for the Democratic nomination for governor in the 2002 race. By July, 2001 Lang had raised $1 million.
