It was named after the biblical city of Ksalon (Joshua 15:10), a name preserved in the abandoned Arab village of Kasla.After its establishment, the Yemenite founders were joined by more immigrants from Romania. However, it was later abandoned. The moshav was re-established in 1955 by immigrants from Morocco and Tunisia.".
