- IndyCamp_Live abstract "IndyCamp Live is a protest camp established by People's Voice, supporters of Scottish independence on the grounds of the Scottish parliament at Holyrood. The organisers of the camp say they will remain there until Scottish independence has been achieved, and call for a second referendum on Scottish independence. People's Voice describe their camp as a continuation of the Democracy for Scotland vigil. In a live internet broadcast, camp members also said that they believe that the declaration of Arbroath supersedes the 1707 Act of Union, and that Scottish National Party MPs at Westminster should \"dissolve that parliament\", views that led Scottish Unionists to label the camp \"Camp Stupid\".The Scottish Parliament clerk and chief executive Paul Grice objected to the camp on the grounds that its presence at Holyrood infringes on the neutrality of parliament and prevented others from using the space, and was set up on the grounds without permission. In a letter to members of the Scottish parliamentary estate, Grice also said that legal advice was being sought on how to remove the camp On Tuesday, the 8th of December, 2015, Sheriff officers issued the campers with a notice ordering them to leave within 48 hours. However, the campers have stated that they will not leave. On Thursday, the 10th of December, the Scottish parliament began legal action to evict the campers. The campers have decided to represent themselves at court. The campers have failed to get their eviction proceedings thrown out. They believe that their case will bring about the dissolution of the United Kingdom.".
