- Charley_Ferrer abstract "Charley Ferrer (born April 1963, in Puerto Rico), became the first Latina Doctor of Human Sexuality in the United States in 2000 receiving her doctoral degree from the Institute of Advanced Study of Human Sexuality. Her first book, The W.I.S.E. Journal for the Sensual Woman, won best self-help book in 2002 from the Latino Literary Hall of Fame.
